I really wanted to love this more because the chemistry between Alfie Chen and An Che is actually quite tender and slow-burn. The island vibe is gorgeous. But the thriller plot felt confusing at times and the romance scenes were too few. Still, if you're into moody psych BL, give it a shot.

The concept is promising but the execution drags. Pacing issues hurt the suspense, and many hypnotism sequences feel repetitive. The side characters are underdeveloped and the ending wraps up too neatly. I wanted more logical consistency in the mystery. Could have been tighter at 10 episodes.

Shut up and just look at this show. The island cinematography is stunning—misty mornings, cozy guesthouse interiors, and beautiful sunset shots. The color grading shifts from warm to cold as the psychological tension rises. I watched it just for the visuals and wasn't disappointed. The story is okay but the camera work elevates it.

While I appreciate the show tackling mental health and trauma recovery, the power dynamic between therapist and hypnotist-as-love-interest made me uneasy. There's a fine line between healing and manipulation here. The series doesn't fully interrogate that. Still, it's rare to see a BL handle suicidal ideation with any nuance, so I'll credit the attempt.

The OST is absolutely haunting—especially the piano theme that plays during the hypnotism scenes. It perfectly captures the melancholic, mysterious atmosphere. I don't think the show would be half as effective without the music. A few more original songs would have been nice, but the score carries the emotional weight.
