You're My Sky is a warm, sun-drenched Thai BL that follows three very different couples navigating love, ambition, and the complex terrain of university sports. At its heart is Thorn, a bright-eyed freshman basketball player who has harbored a crush on his childhood friend Tupfah for years. When he follows Tupfah to college, Thorn discovers that his once-passionate idol has given up on his dream of going pro. Determined to reignite that spark, Thorn rallies the team and pushes Tupfah to believe again—but as their shared goals pull them closer, personal insecurities and diverging paths threaten to tear them apart. Alongside them, the gentle track athlete Aii juggles a scholarship opportunity abroad with his growing feelings for the relentlessly flirtatious Saen, while the electric, complicated tension between Dome and Vee—a basketball player and his girlfriend's brother—explores the painful question of right person, wrong time. With stunning cinematography that bathes every scene in golden summer light, You're My Sky is a visually captivating, emotionally grounded story about chasing dreams, finding courage, and learning that love doesn't always follow a perfect playbook.

I came for the basketball but stayed for the gorgeous lighting and color grading. Every scene looks like it belongs in an art film—especially the night scenes on the outdoor court. Dome and Vee barely touched but I felt their tension in my bones. This is how you film longing. A visual feast from start to finish.

I'm obsessed with Dome and Vee. Their story is so messy and real—right person, wrong time hits hard. The way they look at each other says more than any dialogue could. Yes, the cheating plot is controversial, but the show handles it with so much care and drama. They made me cry, laugh, and scream at my screen. Best couple of 2022.

The cinematography is undeniably beautiful, but the plot is a mess. The time jump between episodes 8 and 9 was so poorly handled I thought I skipped an episode. Main characters make baffling decisions, and the basketball games—while well-shot—take up too much time that should’ve gone to relationship development. Dome/Vee saved it, but not enough to ignore the structural problems.

I absolutely adored Aii and Saen—their slow-burn, flirty-to-sweet romance gave me all the butterflies. Saen's determination to win Aii over while respecting his boundaries was so refreshing. And the main couple? Once they got past the awkward first episodes, they really grew on me. This series made me feel warm and hopeful. Definitely recommend if you love realistic, feel-good BL.

I appreciate that this BL tries to show messy, realistic relationships, but I have serious concerns about the consent issues in the Saen/Aii morning-after scene—Aii clearly says 'stop' and Saen doesn't. Also, the Dome/Vee love triangle is glossed over in terms of emotional impact on Pan, the sister. The show needed stronger handling of these dynamics. Still, for a sports BL, the overall messaging about communication and growth is decent.
