This special was pure fluff and I loved every second! The chemistry between Parker and Hsiao Hung is off the charts, and their kisses are some of the best in BL. The proposal scene made me tear up. Perfect ending for one of my favorite couples!

While the main couple got a beautiful ending, my heart is with the side couple tease! That final conversation between Hui Wang and Xiao Yang was electric. I need a whole series for them. The special gave just enough to leave me craving more.

I found the falling-and-catch scene a bit too cringey and the camera work shaky at times, but overall this special did what it needed to do: give us closure. The relationship progression felt more natural than the series. A decent watch but not groundbreaking.

The styling upgrade for this special is amazing! The actors' new haircuts and the gorgeous tuxedos made every scene pop. The wedding photo shoot lighting was dreamy. However, some handheld shots were distracting. Overall a visually pleasing experience.

I appreciate that this special acknowledged the toxic dynamics from the series by showing a healthier, more balanced relationship. Shang Zhou's decision to leave his company for Shun Yu felt like genuine character growth. Still, the rushed side couple setup lacked consent discussion. Worth watching for the improved dynamic.
