In the cold winter air, three high school boys navigate the delicate constellations of first love, heartbreak, and loyalty. Win (Poom Jittipat Suwannaluck) has a secret, all-consuming crush on his classmate Time (BM Chanatip Aumpu), but his low self-esteem keeps him from confessing. When Time asks Win to deliver 999 hand-folded paper stars to Hunter (Photo Patawee Klamudom)—the charming best friend Win secretly loves—Win's heart shatters even as he helps Time pursue his own crush. Yet this tender short series avoids melodramatic tropes, instead unfolding with poetic realism. As Hunter reveals his true, selfless nature and Time faces his own heartbreak, the boys learn that the brightest stars often shine in friendship, silence, and the courage to speak the truth. A gem of emotional authenticity from MindTrio, *You and My Stars* captures the ache and wonder of puppy love with breathtaking sincerity.

This was absolutely adorable! Win and Time's final conversation under the stars made my heart melt. The way Win shyly gives him the paper stars and Time's honest confession—I cried happy tears! No over-the-top drama, just pure, vulnerable love. Poom and BM's chemistry is off the charts.

A sweet story, but the narration and flashbacks felt redundant in such a short runtime. I also found the timeline a bit confusing—did the last scene take place after the confession? Still, the character motivations made sense, and I appreciated the lack of toxic tropes. It's a decent watch if you're in the mood for something light.

The cinematography is stunning for an indie short! The night sky scenes at the pier are beautifully shot, with soft lighting and a dreamy color palette that perfectly mirrors the characters' emotions. The use of Rachmaninoff's music adds a poignant layer. A few editing transitions felt abrupt, but overall a visual treat.

I was impressed by how this series handles unrequited love, jealousy, and friendship without demonizing anyone. Hunter's rejection of Time is harsh but motivated by loyalty to Win, and the subsequent fight shows real (if flawed) emotional reactions. The boys talk through their feelings instead of letting misunderstandings fester. A healthy, age-appropriate portrayal of first love.

The musical score, especially the recurring piano piece (Rachmaninoff's 'Vocalise'), elevates every emotional beat. It's not overdone—just a gentle underscore that lets the actors' performances shine. I only wish there had been an original song to match the theme of paper stars and winter skies. Still, the soundtrack perfectly complements the bittersweet tone.
