Yellow Line is a tender and refreshingly honest Korean BL that unfolds within the vibrant halls of a university campus. Jae-won, a straightforward and warm-hearted student, finds his daily routine disrupted when he's assigned as a peer supporter for the enigmatic and cold-leaning transfer student, Seo-jun. Seo-jun is sensitive and guarded, carrying unseen burdens behind his icy exterior. As Jae-won patiently chips away at those walls through small gestures of kindness, an unexpected bond blossoms into a sweet, slow-burn romance. This series beautifully explores the push-and-pull of two young men navigating first love, friendship, and the courage it takes to be vulnerable. With its authentic university backdrop, relatable supporting characters, and a focus on emotional intimacy over dramatics, Yellow Line delivers a quiet but powerful story about connection and self-acceptance that will leave you smiling.

I absolutely adored this! Jae-won is the sweetest green flag ever, and watching Seo-jun slowly open up felt like a privilege. The way they communicated through small gestures and lingering glances gave me butterflies. Perfect comfort watch.

The cinematography in Yellow Line is a quiet triumph. Soft natural lighting, carefully framed shots in the library and garden, and a warm color palette that mirrors the emotional journey. It's not flashy, but every frame serves the story beautifully.

I appreciate how the show handles consent and emotional boundaries. Seo-jun's anxiety is never trivialized, and Jae-won constantly asks for permission before physical touch. For a BL, this level of care about personal space is commendable and sets a good example.

It's a cute story, but let's be honest: the pacing drags in the middle episodes, and the supporting characters outside the main two feel underdeveloped. I wish the script had given the side plot more weight. Still, the main romance is sweet enough to keep you going.

The soundtrack is so underrated! The gentle piano theme that plays during Jae-won and Seo-jun's quiet moments together perfectly underscores the tenderness. And the ending song with its hopeful melody stayed in my head for days. I already added it to my playlist.
