I came for the pet shop, stayed for the heart eyes. Hang Hang is SO patient and gentle, and Liang Ze's cluelessness actually made me squeal. The ending broke me, but I'd rewatch the cute scenes a hundred times. The OST is perfect too!

I'm obsessed with the opening and closing themes—they sound like lost 80s synthpop gems and fit the dreamy vibe perfectly. The sad piano at the final scene wrecked me. Even if the story frustrates you, the music is worth the watch alone.
