What if a simple misdial could rewrite your whole story? That's exactly what happens when reserved, heartbroken Yoo I Seop picks up a call meant for someone else, only to find himself tangled in an unexpected connection with the bold and disarmingly honest Han U Tae. Over the course of four short but emotionally packed episodes, these two strangers slowly unravel each other's past hurts, discovering that the person on the other end of the line might be exactly who they need. With no room for filler, Wrong Number delivers a tender, sincere romance that respects its characters' emotional journeys, all while sidestepping the usual homophobic tropes. The result is a sweet, intimate, and surprisingly deep watch that proves you don't need a long runtime to leave a lasting impression.

I loved how natural the connection felt between I Seop and U Tae. Even with only 40 minutes, they managed to make me care about both of them, especially U Tae's direct honesty. No homophobia, no over-the-top drama – just two wounded people finding each other. It's my new go-to recommendation for anyone new to BL.

The premise is charming, but the execution falters in the last episode. Too much screen time is wasted on a third character, and the resolution feels abrupt. Also, the constant reliance on drunk conversations to move the plot was a bit lazy. Still, for a 40-minute watch, it's decent enough.

I was genuinely impressed by the cinematography for such a low-budget web series. The camera angles, lighting in the bar scenes, and the soft focus during emotional moments all elevated the story. A few shaky shots here and there, but overall visually pleasing. The OST was also fitting, though a touch too loud in episodes 3-4.

Finally, a KBL that doesn't treat queerness as a problem to be solved. The lack of homophobia as a plot point is refreshing, and the show even addresses consent through I Seop's clear boundary-setting. Yes, there's a non-con kiss from a side character, but it's treated as a violation, not romanticized. A small step for BL, a giant leap for Korean web dramas.

The soundtrack is lovely and really sets the wistful, hopeful tone. But I wish they had balanced the audio better – in the last two episodes, the background music drowned out some of the dialogue. Still, the main theme has been stuck in my head for days. A short but sweet experience overall.
