When free-spirited busker Kang In Soo pours his soul into his music on the streets of Seoul, he doesn't just capture the hearts of passersby—he unknowingly steals the heart of one very special listener. Yoo Sang Yi, a shy and talented producer for a major label, is completely transfixed the moment he hears In Soo's voice. A twist of fate brings them together when Sang Yi’s label signs In Soo, and as part of the deal, Sang Yi moves into In Soo’s home to produce his debut album. What begins as a professional collaboration soon blossoms into something far more intimate, as shared melodies and lingering glances give way to a tender, slow-burn romance. This movie cut—crafted from the original series with crucial added scenes—deepens the emotional journey, letting viewers witness In Soo’s quiet struggle with his feelings and Sang Yi’s unwavering devotion. With a lush soundtrack, gorgeous cinematography, and a story that celebrates finding your soulmate through music, *Wish You: Your Melody From My Heart* is a heartfelt, uplifting experience that proves love, like the perfect song, needs no translation.

I adored every single moment of this movie! Lee Sang’s shy smiles and Kang In Soo’s soft vulnerability made me swoon. The extra scenes in the movie really flesh out their love story—you can feel them falling for each other through the music. Pure heart-fluttering magic.

I wanted to love this, but the story is just too thin. The leads fall for each other with barely any meaningful conversation, and the main conflict is resolved in five minutes. Great acting and music can't cover up the lack of substance. It's cute, but nothing more.

The soundtrack alone makes this a must-watch. 'Wish For You' is stuck in my head on repeat, and the way the cello theme weaves through the emotional beats is perfection. I wish the songs were longer, but the music captures the romance beautifully. A treat for any music lover.

Every frame of this movie is like a warm, golden-hued painting. The soft lighting, the intimate close-ups during the busking scenes, and the way the camera lingers on the leads' expressions—it's visually stunning. Even the slightly overlong montages feel artistic rather than boring.

While sweet, the movie completely sidesteps any real-world struggles queer people face in the Korean music industry. It’s a sanitized, sugarcoated version of love that feels stuck in a fantasy. The leads' relationship develops without any meaningful conversation about identity or consent. Disappointing.
