When Wu Gang and Yang Duo decide to enter a marriage of convenience, it's not out of love for each other—but out of necessity. Gang is in a long-term relationship with his boyfriend Sam, and Duo is devoted to her girlfriend Liya. To keep their conservative families from suspecting the truth, they fake a wedding and move in together, planning to live happily with their respective partners under one roof. But their carefully laid scheme quickly spirals into chaos when Gang's overbearing mother decides to move in to 'help' the newlyweds start a family. Add in Gang's rebellious lesbian sister Rou, and the household becomes a pressure cooker of secrets, lies, and unexpected connections. This Taiwanese dramedy balances laugh-out-loud situations with a heartfelt exploration of LGBTQ+ identity, family expectations, and the courage to live authentically. Director Zero Chou crafts a story that is both uproariously funny and deeply moving, reminding us that the true meaning of 'family' isn't about conformity—it's about acceptance and love in all its forms.

I absolutely loved this movie! The fake marriage setup had me laughing so hard, but the real heart is in the brother-sister bond and the way they both fight for their love. Zero Chou really made me feel for every character, even the overbearing mom. A must-watch for anyone who loves queer stories with soul.

The premise is promising, but the execution falls flat. The male leads have zero personality beyond being 'the gay boyfriend,' and the non-stop contrivances—like the mom moving in and the sudden sister-love-interest—felt forced. The cinematography looked cheap and the sound was often distracting. Still, it deserves credit for trying to address real issues.

This film hit me hard as a queer person from a conservative background. The scene where Rou says 'The society is harmonious, but I am bullied!' perfectly captures the pain of being forced to hide. Yes, the production is rough and the male characters are underdeveloped, but the raw emotional truth about family pressure and fake marriages made it worthwhile for me.

As someone who cares about visual storytelling, this was tough to watch. The camera work is shaky, the lighting is flat, and the color grading looks like a TV movie from 2005. The lesbian couple had the most interesting scenes visually, but overall the directing lacked finesse. A great idea that needed a bigger budget and a stronger director of photography.

The instrumental OST is pleasant but forgettable—it doesn't do much to heighten the comedy or the drama. There were moments where silence would have been more powerful than the generic piano filler. That said, the film's use of diegetic sounds (like the chaotic home noises) added a realistic touch. Not a soundtrack to remember, but not offensive either.
