Venus and Sky were once inseparable friends, until a confession of love shattered their bond. Three years later, Venus has left his high-pressure city job and returned to his sleepy hometown, hoping for a quiet reset. But fate has other plans: Sky, now a charming doctor, walks back into his life—determined to win back the man he once rejected. What follows is a deeply emotional, slow-burn journey of second chances, miscommunication, and raw vulnerability. Venus guards his heart with walls of bitterness, while Sky's relentless persistence borders on obsession. As they navigate painful flashbacks and awkward reunions, their stubborn love story is punctuated by surprisingly mature conversations and some of the steamiest NC scenes in recent Thai BL. Alongside them, two side couples—Venus's protective brother Janus and his patient boyfriend Bomb, plus friends Tonkla and Baitong—offer lighter, fluffier romance with refreshingly realistic conflict resolution. Though the pacing can feel glacial, the emotional payoff is genuine for those who stick with it. This is a tale for anyone who believes that some loves are worth fighting for—even if it takes a decade of episodes to get there.

I don't care what anyone says—I loved this. Yes, it's slow, but the way Sky calls Venus 'Vee' melts my heart every time. The sexual tension is off the charts, and once they finally get together? Whew, those NC scenes are worth the wait. Janus and Bomb are the sweetest side couple ever. I rewatched the last three episodes twice already.

Honestly, I watched this for Janus and Bomb. Their relationship feels so real—the arguments, the make-ups, the actual communication. Main couple? Too much repetitive angst for my taste. But Bomb's patience and Janus's growth? Chef's kiss. Also, the NC scenes between them were surprisingly well-done. If they had their own spin-off I'd binge it in a day.

This is a textbook case of 'good pilot, terrible series'. The premise is fine, but they stretch it over 10 hour-long episodes with zero plot progression. You could skip episodes 2-6 and miss nothing. Venus's anger makes no sense—Sky rejected him honestly years ago, so why this level of bitterness? The writing is lazy, and the only reason people tolerate it is the sex scenes. Pass.

I'm conflicted. On one hand, I appreciate that the side couples model healthy communication. On the other, Sky's behavior towards Venus is borderline harassment—ignoring 'no', invading personal space, and emotional manipulation. The show frames this as romantic persistence, which is troubling. Venus's trauma is real, and seeing it brushed aside for a happy ending left a bad taste. NC scenes were hot, but not worth the problematic messaging.

Visually, it's decent. The 7-11 product placement is obnoxious but at least integrated into the setting. The lighting in the hospital and bedroom scenes is warm and inviting. However, the editing is rough—flashbacks are confusingly placed, and the pacing drags because of repetitive shot compositions. The opening credits are bland. It's not ugly, but it's not cinematic either. Average work from a production team that can do better.
