This special was everything I wanted! Seeing Adachi and Kurosawa celebrate their first Valentine's Day was so sweet. The flashbacks to Kurosawa's shy chocolate-giving last year melted my heart. And the way Kurosawa gets jealous over a simple gift? Adorable! More of them please!

It's cute but honestly, it didn't add anything to the story. We already knew they were dating. The Valentine's segment was fine but nothing new, and Rokkaku's investigation was predictable. I wanted more character development, not just fluff. Still, it's under 20 minutes so no harm.

As a fan of the manga, I appreciated that this special stayed true to the characters' personalities. The Rokkaku part was especially faithful to his comic relief role. However, the anime and manga had more detailed inner monologues. This was a nice bonus but didn't capture the full charm of the original panels.

The lighting in the Valentine's scenes was so warm and dreamy, perfectly capturing the intimate mood. I loved the color grading—soft pastels that made everything feel like a sweet memory. The camera framing during Rokkaku's part shifted to a more playful, wide-angle style, which was a nice contrast.

I appreciate that the special continues to show a healthy, consent-based relationship between Adachi and Kurosawa. Their communication is improving, and the jealousy is handled lightly without toxicity. However, I wish they had addressed the workplace secrecy more openly. Still, it's refreshing to see a BL without problematic power dynamics.
