What if the love that ended in tragedy was given a second chance? *Until We Meet Again* is a rare and emotionally devastating Thai BL that weaves together two timelines—one of heartbreak, one of hope. Thirty years ago, Korn and Intouch were star-crossed lovers in 1980s Bangkok, torn apart by family opposition and the weight of societal homophobia. Their story ended in a double suicide that left scars across two families. In the present day, Pharm is a sweet, shy university student who loves to cook but is haunted by nightmares of a past life he doesn't understand. Dean is the cool, reserved swimming club captain who feels an inexplicable pull toward Pharm the moment they meet. As their souls recognize each other across time, the two must confront the ghosts of Korn and Intouch—learning to love again while healing the wounds of a previous life. This isn't just a romance; it's a meditation on fate, forgiveness, and the red thread that binds souls together. With stellar performances from Fluke Natouch and Ohm Thitiwat, and a side couple (Win and Team) that steals hearts, *Until We Meet Again* is a slow-burn masterpiece that rewards patience with profound emotional payoff. It respects its characters, treats LGBTQ+ identity with sincerity, and never sensationalizes tragedy. If you're ready to cry, to believe in soulmates, and to witness one of the healthiest, most communicative relationships in BL, this series will stay with you long after the final frame.

I have never seen a love story so pure and destined. Dean and Pharm are soulmates through and through, and every glance, every touch, every tear they share made my heart ache in the best way. Fluke and Ohm's chemistry is off the charts—when Pharm says 'P'Dean' in that shy voice, I melt. This is the kind of love that makes you believe in fate. I've rewatched it three times already and I cry every single time. If you want a romance that feels like a warm hug and a cathartic cry, this is it.

I wanted to love this because the reincarnation premise is genuinely interesting, but the execution left me frustrated. The pacing is glacial—whole scenes of Pharm cooking or staring into space with nothing happening. The middle episodes drag so much I almost dropped it. Dean is basically a cardboard cutout with three expressions, and Pharm cries in almost every scene without much build-up. The big conflict only appears in the last episode and feels rushed. For a 17-episode series, there's surprisingly little plot. I get that some people love the slow, atmospheric style, but for me, it needed a serious edit.

Honestly, I watched this entire show for Win and Team—and they did not disappoint. Their playful, flirty dynamic is everything I crave in BL. Win's teasing and Team's flustered reactions are pure gold. Boun and Prem have insane chemistry, and every scene they're in crackles with energy. I wish they got more screen time, but their slow-burn arc is so satisfying. The main couple DeanPharm is cute but way too slow for me. If you're like me and love a fun, bickering-to-lovers side couple, watch this for WinTeam alone—then go watch their sequel *Between Us*!

Visually, this series is a feast. The color grading in the past timeline is warm and nostalgic, while the present has a softer, more serene palette. The director uses long, lingering shots that let you soak in every emotion—the way light falls on Pharm's face when he cooks, the way Dean's swimming scenes are shot like water ballet. The red thread motif is woven into the cinematography beautifully. Yes, some scenes are slow, but for me, that's the point: it forces you to live in the moment with the characters. A gorgeous, painterly BL that prioritizes mood over plot.

The music in *Until We Meet Again* is nothing short of transcendent. Boy Sompob's 'Until We Meet Again' and Dome Jaruwat's 'Finally' are masterpieces that perfectly capture the longing and hope of the story. The orchestral score—especially the violin pieces—elevates every emotional scene to another level. I've listened to the OST on repeat for months. The way the music swells during the past-life flashbacks gave me chills. If you're a music lover, this series will haunt you in the best way.

I appreciate this drama more than I enjoy it. The portrayal of a healthy gay relationship with clear boundaries is groundbreaking for Thai BL. Dean never pushes Pharm—he waits, he asks, he respects when Pharm says no. That scene where Pharm tells Dean never to touch him without permission again is vital representation. The past-life homophobia and suicide are treated with gravity, not sensationalism. However, Pharm's constant crying and reluctance sometimes made their romance feel one-sided to me. I wish we'd seen more of his desire, not just his fear. Still, for its social messages and focus on consent, it deserves applause.

As someone who read the novel first, I think the drama does an admirable job capturing the emotional core, but it loses some of the internal monologues that made the book so rich. Pharm's inner turmoil about whether his love for Dean is real or just leftover feelings from his past life is much clearer in the book. The drama relies too much on Fluke's crying to convey that. On the plus side, the side couple Win/Team gets more fleshed out here than in the source material, which fans of them will love. Overall, a faithful and beautiful adaptation, just slower than necessary.
