I honestly melted into a puddle watching this. Shin Yoo and Cha Seo Won have the most natural chemistry — every little glance and touch felt so real. The pottery scene where he helps him shape the clay? I screamed. This special gave me everything I wanted and more. If you loved the series, do not skip this.

I enjoyed the series for what it was, but this special felt a bit too stretched. The conflict is resolved too quickly, and the new subplot about the pottery exhibition doesn't add much tension. It's a cozy watch, but if you're looking for narrative depth, you might feel a bit underwhelmed. The acting saves it.

The cinematography in this special is absolutely stunning. Golden hour shots over the Gangneung coastline, the warm candlelight inside the pottery studio, and the soft focus on the characters' faces — it's like a visual poem. Every frame is Instagram-worthy. I rewatched just for the scenery.

As someone who read the original webtoon, I appreciate that this special tries to add more closure, but it deviates from some key character moments. Du Ri's backstory is simplified, and the ending feels more saccharine than the bittersweet tone of the manhwa. Still, it's a decent adaptation for those who want a happy-ever-after.

I was pleasantly surprised by how the special handles consent and boundaries. Won Yeong's initial distrust towards Du Ri is portrayed with nuance — he never forces affection, and their relationship builds slowly with clear communication. It's refreshing to see a BL that respects both characters' autonomy while still being deeply romantic.
