In the heart of Manila, two souls collide in a story of love, sacrifice, and second chances. *Unforgettable Love* follows Miguel, a reserved architect still haunted by a painful past, and Carlo, a free-spirited photographer who believes in seizing every moment. When a mutual friend’s wedding brings them together, their connection is immediate—but so are the obstacles. Family expectations, career pressures, and lingering emotional scars threaten to tear them apart before they can truly begin. This Filipino BL film captures the raw, tender journey of two men learning to trust again, with a narrative that balances heartfelt romance and real-life drama. Through stolen glances, quiet conversations, and moments of vulnerability, *Unforgettable Love* reminds us that some loves are worth fighting for—even when the world isn’t ready to accept them.

I absolutely loved the chemistry between the leads. It’s not a flashy romance, but the quiet moments—like Miguel fixing Carlo’s camera strap—felt so real. As a Filipino BL fan, I’m proud to see our stories told with this much heart. A bit slow in the middle, but the ending made me cry.

I wanted to like this, but the script felt clunky and the editing was choppy. The emotional beats didn’t land because the pacing was all over the place. The acting was decent for a low-budget film, but the story needed more depth. Sorry, not for me.

This movie gave me all the feels! The way Miguel slowly opens up to Carlo is so sweet. Yes, the production is low-budget, but the emotions are high. The beach scene at sunset is one of the most romantic moments I’ve seen in BL. I’ve rewatched it three times already!

I appreciate the attempt at portraying a queer relationship with real struggles—family rejection and internal guilt. However, the dialogue felt too on-the-nose at times, and the supporting characters were flat. Still, it’s a decent watch if you’re looking for something low-stakes and Filipino.

The soundtrack surprised me! The original song during the rooftop confession scene is gorgeous and really amplifies the emotion. I wish they’d release it on Spotify. Also, the color grading gives the film a warm, nostalgic feel. Not perfect, but enjoyable for what it is.
