I absolutely loved the slow-burn chemistry between Phat and Thanwa. Every time they exchanged that shy glance under the moonlight, my heart melted. The political background gave the romance so much weight. Yes, it's short, but every moment counts. This is exactly the kind of historical BL I've been craving.

The concept is fascinating—Thai history meets queer romance. But the execution felt rushed. With only five episodes, the political intrigue is barely sketched out, and the romance, while cute, lacks the depth to justify the high stakes. I wanted more world-building and less convenient coincidences. It's a decent watch but not a masterpiece.

The cinematography is stunning! The way they captured the northern Thai landscapes and the soft candlelight scenes made me feel like I was traveling alongside the characters. The costumes and set design are clearly well-researched. I wish the script had matched that visual ambition, but I still enjoyed the aesthetic journey.

I appreciate that the show tried to address class and political power dynamics, but it occasionally romanticizes the aristocracy in a way that felt uncomfortable. The leads have genuine chemistry, but I wanted more discussion about the real implications of Phat's privilege. Still, for a short series, it opened an important conversation about queer love during a revolution.
