I'm here for the kisses and they did NOT disappoint! The way they shot those close-ups felt so real and unscripted. Yes, the story is confusing and the actor change threw me off, but honestly the chemistry in the first half made up for it. If you're a romance junkie like me, just skip the side plots.

How can a 6-episode series still have a massive plot hole? We never find out why they broke up! The recast made it even worse – I felt like I was watching two different shows. The father drama came out of nowhere and didn't help. Save your 38 minutes.

I appreciate that they tried to show the dark side of the idol industry and family trauma, but the execution was clumsy. The abusive father storyline felt tacked on, and telling a grieving person to 'smile' is not okay. The female antagonist is a tired trope. At least the leads had a natural ease with each other.

The music was decent and some shots had a nice indie feel, but the sound mixing was awful – lyrics drowned out dialogue. The mid-series actor switch was jarring and broke my immersion. I wanted to love the cinematography but the low budget really showed. Still, I've seen worse.

I actually liked the background OST – it set a melancholic mood that fit the story. Too bad the vocal tracks were turned up way too high during conversations. The kiss scenes had good lighting and framing though. Not a total waste, but definitely could have been better with a more focused script.
