Aii and Koon are two strangers brought together by an unexpected bond: they were both heartbroken by the same person. As they lean on each other for comfort, they discover an uncanny number of shared interests—from their taste in music to their quiet love for late-night noodle runs. What starts as a mutual support system quickly deepens into something neither expected. To make their growing closeness easier, they decide to become roommates. But sharing a space—and a tangled web of past emotions—isn't always simple. With Aii on guitar and Koon behind the drums, their creative collaboration mirrors the rhythm of their evolving relationship. 'Twenty One' is a tender, slow-burn friends-to-lovers story set against a backdrop of music, healing, and the messy beauty of falling for your roommate. Perfect for fans of heartfelt queer romance with a musical soul.

I am absolutely obsessed with Aii and Koon! Their journey from heartbroken strangers to roommates to lovers melted my heart. The drum-and-guitar jam sessions gave me butterflies every single time. If you love sweet, slow-burn friends-to-lovers with amazing chemistry, this is for you!

While the romance is cute, the pacing drags in the middle episodes. The ex-lover drama felt a bit underdeveloped—I wanted more closure. That said, the acting is solid and the cohabitation scenes are charming. A decent watch but not groundbreaking.

The warm color grading and soft lighting in their shared apartment made every frame feel like a photograph. And the concert sequences? Gorgeous. The way the camera moves with the music really pulls you into their world. A visual treat for any cinematography lover.

The original songs in this series are phenomenal! I've been replaying the main theme since episode one. The drum and guitar duets are not just cute—they're genuinely good music. Finally a BL that treats its OST as part of the storytelling, not just background noise.

I appreciated how the show handled consent and emotional boundaries. Both leads openly talk about their past pain and don't push each other. The cohabitation agreement felt realistic and respectful. A refreshing take on healing from heartbreak without toxic drama.
