I came for the enemies-to-lovers trope and stayed for the insane chemistry. Forth and Donut are electric together, and the way their hatred slowly melts into something soft and protective? Melted me. Sure, the production is rough and some scenes made me cringe, but the heart is there. I binged all 50 episodes in one sitting and smiled the whole time.

The premise had potential, but the execution was a mess. Every problem is solved by mafia nepotism, the fake fighting is laughably bad, and characters conveniently monologue aloud to move the plot. I did appreciate that the father actually apologized for his family’s wrongs—that’s rare in this genre. But overall it felt like a checklist of tropes with no real tension.

I can't overlook the constant boundary violations. James repeatedly grabs Push, forces him into the shower, touches him without consent, and the show frames it as playful. The drugged scene with the 'I'm supposed to be the top' line was deeply uncomfortable. If you're sensitive to non-consensual dynamics, skip this. The chemistry is fine, but the ethics are not.

Give me mafia dads, guns, and shirtless fights any day. For a vertical short, this delivered some surprisingly fun chase scenes and a couple of decent punch-ups. The dad’s comedic timing with the violence was gold. It’s not KinnPorsche level action, but for 2-minute bursts it kept me entertained. Would love to see these actors in a full-length action BL.

The vertical format is already a challenge, but the camera work here is amateurish at best. Shaky close-ups, flat lighting, and that obnoxious comedy sound effect ruined any immersion. The shower scene was poorly framed, and the fake punch sounds were jarring. With better directing this could have been visually charming, but as it stands, it’s a tough watch for anyone who cares about production value.
