What happens when a sudden downpour traps three very different pairs under the same stairwell? In this innovative South Korean short film, three couples—two women, a man and a woman, and two men—find themselves sheltering from the rain, each duo playing out the exact same script. But the magic lies in the execution: the subtle shifts in body language, the nervous glances, the playful teasing that slowly gives way to a charged question—'Do you want to kiss?' From the shy hesitance of the lesbian pair to the assertive push-and-pull of the straight couple and the raw, electric tension of the gay couple, 'Triple - Do You Want?' is a beautifully crafted meditation on love, desire, and consent. With no backstory and minimal dialogue, the film lets the actors' micro-expressions and the sound of rain and breathing carry every emotion. It's a bold artistic experiment that proves attraction can spark between any two people, but each spark burns differently. A must-watch for fans of thoughtful, atmospheric LGBTQ+ storytelling.

Okay, the gay couple had me absolutely melting. That eye contact, the way they both teetered between joking and dead serious—and then that kiss? I was screaming at my screen. The straight couple was cute but felt a bit stiff, and the girls were sweet too, but those two guys had insane tension. I need a full series of them immediately!

The sound design alone deserves an award. The rain isn't just background—it's a character, a heartbeat. Each sigh and footstep is amplified. The editing lets you feel the space between the characters shrinking. And the color grading? A muted warmth that makes the stairwell feel both claustrophobic and intimate. A masterclass in less-is-more filmmaking.

I love how each couple, despite different dynamics, explicitly asks 'Do you want to?' and waits for a clear answer. The lesbian couple's hesitance, the straight couple's playful pushback, and the gay couple's rough-but-gentle back-and-forth—all show that desire doesn't mean coercion. This is the kind of representation we need: honest, vulnerable, and consensual.

Honestly, I only rewatch for the boys. Their scene had this raw, almost frantic energy—like they were both scared and thrilled. The way one guy goes from 'I'll punch you' to 'yes, please kiss me' in two seconds? Perfect. The other couples were fine, but the BL couple had that certain spark that makes my heart race. More of this, please!

I get the concept, but the execution fell flat for me. The dialogue is stilted, and the first two couples sound like they're filming inside a tin can. Worse, we know nothing about these people—why should I care if they kiss? The awkwardness felt less 'charged' and more 'cringey.' Only the gay couple's segment had decent chemistry, but by then I was already checked out.
