In this gripping short film that serves as a proof-of-concept for a larger series, Dr. Tin (Tae Darvid Kreepolrerk) is a weary emergency room resident who has grown numb to the constant loss of patients. But when a young man named Tol (Tee Thanapon Jarujitranon) dies on his watch, Tin is thrust into a surreal time loop, forced to relive the same tragic moment again and again. Each cycle brings him closer to understanding the mysterious connection between them—and to falling in love. Blending medical drama with fantasy, Triage explores the lengths one will go to save a life, the redemptive power of love, and the haunting question of whether fate can be rewritten. With its high-concept premise and emotionally charged performances from the beloved Tae Tee pairing, this short film is a tantalizing glimpse into a world where every heartbeat could be a second chance.

I've been waiting years to see Tae and Tee actually act together with dialogue, and this short film finally delivered! The time-loop concept is so unique for BL and their chemistry literally gave me chills. I'm so glad this got turned into a full series because these two deserve all the spotlight.

As a standalone film, this is confusing and feels incomplete—more like a concept trailer than a proper story. The plot jumps without explaining the rules of the time loop, and the production value is noticeably low. That said, it's interesting as a historical artifact of how the full Triage series was born.

I watched this after finishing the Triage series, and it's fun to see the original vision. The food scene and stethoscope moment are direct nods to the novel. But the short feels rushed and lacks the emotional depth of the full show—definitely watch the series first if you want a satisfying story.

The cinematography is very amateur—flat lighting and shaky handheld shots that distract from the interesting premise. I can see what they were going for mood-wise, but the execution doesn't hold up compared to the polished series that came later. Only for curiosity's sake.

For a short proof-of-concept, it's okay. I appreciate the focus on saving a life rather than typical BL tropes, but the power dynamic between doctor and patient isn't really examined. The full series does a better job of handling consent and emotional vulnerability. This is just a rough draft.
