I am absolutely obsessed with Mateo and Rico! Their slow-burn from enemies to lovers had me screaming at my screen. The ring scenes are so intense, and the intimate moments feel so real and raw. ZK and Vin have insane chemistry—if you love passionate BL with actual heat, don't sleep on this.

I wanted to love this, but the writing is all over the place. The subplot with the rival stable makes zero sense, and the big emotional reveals feel rushed. The actors do what they can, but the melodrama is exhausting. It's a 6 at best, but I'm being generous because the leads are pretty.

There's a scene where Rico is pushed into a physical confrontation that borders on coercion, and it's never really addressed. Good intentions, but the execution needs more nuance.

The OST is surprisingly good! The main theme has this haunting guitar that perfectly matches the bullfighting vibes. I've been replaying the love ballads on repeat. The music elevates even the weaker episodes—sound alone makes this worth a watch.
