Step into the world of college friendships, hidden desires, and life-changing secrets with *Together with Me*—the electrifying prequel to *Bad Romance: The Series*. This Thai BL drama takes you back to where it all began, focusing on the intense, complicated bond between childhood best friends Korn and Knock. When a drunken night leads to unexpected passion, their unshakeable friendship is thrown into turmoil. Knock, who has always identified as straight, finds himself grappling with confusing feelings, while Korn, secretly in love with Knock for years, hopes this could be their chance. But Knock has a girlfriend, Plern Pleng, adding layers of guilt, betrayal, and a manipulative love triangle that threatens to tear everyone apart. Set against the backdrop of university life, the series follows not just Korn and Knock, but a vibrant group of friends—including the fierce and loyal Yihwa, the sweet and naive Farm, and the troubled Phu—each dealing with their own romantic and personal struggles. As secrets unravel and loyalties are tested, *Together with Me* dives deep into themes of self-discovery, acceptance, and the raw, messy reality of falling for someone society says you shouldn't. With knockout chemistry between leads Max (Korn) and Tul (Knock), this series breaks away from typical BL formulas by featuring openly gay characters, honest portrayals of intimacy, and emotional conflicts that feel painfully real. Whether it's the heart-pounding will-they-won't-they tension, the supportive friendships, or the jaw-dropping plot twists, this show hooks you from the first episode and doesn't let go. Perfect for fans who crave romance with grit, *Together with Me* is a bold, unforgettable journey about love that refuses to be denied.

I am absolutely obsessed with this series! Max and Tul have the most insane chemistry I've ever seen—every kiss, every touch, every longing look feels so real that I forgot they were acting. The friends-to-lovers journey is everything I ever wanted, and even though Knock frustrated me sometimes, his struggle felt authentic. Yihwa is the ultimate wingwoman. I've rewatched the apartment scenes a hundred times. If you want a BL that makes your heart race and your cheeks burn, this is it!

I can see why people love the chemistry, but the plot is a mess. The same conflicts repeat over and over—Knock gets manipulated by his girlfriend, Korn gets hurt, they make up, repeat. The pacing drags in the middle episodes. And the side stories? The teacher-student romance felt pointless, and the doctor/Bright storyline was just uncomfortable and poorly resolved. I pushed through for the main couple, but honestly, the writing needed a lot more work.

I appreciate that this series tries to show real queer struggles—internalized homophobia, coming out, toxic masculinity. The main couple's intimacy is refreshingly passionate and consensual. However, I have serious issues with the Farm/Bright subplot. Bright is a predator who manipulates and coerces an innocent young man, and the show never properly condemns it. The resolution felt like an afterthought. The girlfriend character is also written as a one-dimensional villain, which is lazy. Worth watching for Korn and Knock, but be prepared to skip or critically engage with the problematic parts.

Visually, this series stands out among early Thai BLs. The lighting in the intimate scenes is soft and romantic without being washed out. I love the framing of the group scenes—the dormitory feels like a character itself. Korn’s pained expressions are captured beautifully in close-ups. However, some of the transitional shots and the overuse of comedic sound effects break the mood. Still, for a 2017 production, the cinematography holds up really well. A few more establishing shots would have elevated it.

The soundtrack of Together With Me is criminally underrated! The main theme 'Together With Me' by Getsunova is so catchy and perfectly captures the longing and excitement of the series. The background music during the emotional scenes—especially the piano pieces—hits right in the feels. I also love how they use upbeat tracks during the friend group's hilarious moments. The only downside is that one or two songs feel repetitive by episode 10, but overall, the music enhances every scene. I've had the OST on repeat for weeks!

I'm probably in the minority, but I was really drawn to the Farm and Bright storyline. Yes, it's dark and uncomfortable, but it shows a side of queer dating that is rarely explored—the power imbalance, the manipulation, the slow realization of abuse. Farm's character arc from naive to traumatized is heartbreaking and acted so well by CGame. I just wish the writers had given them a proper resolution instead of sweeping it under the rug. Their story deserved more screen time and nuance. The main couple is great, but this subplot stayed with me long after the credits rolled.

I honestly don't get the hype. The main couple has zero communication skills. Knock treats Korn terribly for most of the series, gaslighting him and stringing him along while keeping his toxic girlfriend. The female characters are either evil or just plot devices. And the Farm/Bright situation is borderline rape—how is that romanticized? I had to skip through half the episodes because everyone was so infuriating. The only saving grace is Yihwa, but even she can't fix this trainwreck. Do not watch if you value healthy relationships.

This is the definition of slow burn done right! From that explosive first episode to the emotional payoff in the finale, Korn and Knock's journey is a rollercoaster. I loved that Knock wasn't immediately accepting—it made his eventual surrender to love so much sweeter. Max and Tul act their hearts out. Every time they share a scene, the screen practically sizzles. Yes, the girlfriend plot is annoying, but it adds the necessary tension. If you have patience and love a good 'will they finally get together?' story, this is for you. I cried happy tears at the end.
