In just 26 minutes, 'To You, for Me' delivers a tender, time-bending queer romance that asks: what would you risk to save the one you love? College students Ian and Paul meet by chance while hiding in a cramped closet during a dormitory game of hide-and-seek. What starts as an awkward encounter blossoms into a secret friendship—and eventually a hidden romance. But when tragedy strikes, Ian discovers he can rewind time, returning to that very closet to try again. Each loop forces him to confront Paul's fear of coming out, the pain of unrequited feelings, and the weight of a love that might be doomed. With a sci-fi twist, this short film explores second chances, self-acceptance, and the courage it takes to love openly. Spoiler-free: the story unfolds across four acts, each iteration peeling back deeper layers of vulnerability and hope. A gem for fans of emotional, thought-provoking BL that prioritizes character growth over spectacle.

I'm a sucker for time-loop love stories, and this one hit all the right notes. The chemistry between Ian and Paul feels so real—you can see the longing in every glance. The ending made me tear up. Sure, the acting isn't perfect, but the emotional core more than makes up for it. A hidden gem!

The concept is great—Butterfly Effect meets a coming-out drama. But the execution is a bit rough. The acting is stiff in places, and some time-loop logic doesn't hold up if you think too hard. Still, the message about not wasting time and speaking your truth is powerful. Worth 26 minutes if you can overlook the budget.

I wanted to love this because the premise is so unique for a BL short, but the directing and cinematography felt like a student project—flat lighting, awkward cuts, and very basic framing. The closet scene is clever thematically but visually unexciting. The story itself has heart, but the lack of polish kept me from fully connecting.

What a powerful little film about the closet as a physical and metaphorical space. Ian's repeated efforts to save Paul mirror the real struggle of trying to help someone accept themselves. I loved how each loop revealed new layers of shame and fear. It doesn't romanticize suffering but offers hope—a must-watch for anyone interested in queer narratives that go beyond surface-level romance.

I came for the time-loop tag but stayed for... well, I almost left. The background music is barely there, and when it does play it feels generic and mismatched. The story is sweet but the poor sound design really took me out of the emotional moments. Honestly, this is one for fans of the message, not for those who need a polished audiovisual experience.
