Honestly, this has become my favorite Korean BL after Secret Relationships. The opening is explosive — moody cinematography, intense chemistry, and the boldest intimate scenes I've seen in a KBL. The couch kiss, the kitchen scene, and especially the hotel room moment where Jeong Han ties Il Jo up? Absolutely electrifying. Jeong Ri U and Yoon Ji Sung are perfectly cast; their dynamic is equal parts toxic and magnetic. A solid 10/10 for pure addictive entertainment.

I wanted to love this more, but the second half is a mess of noble idiocy, miscommunication, and a villain that makes no sense. The show gaslights you with characters claiming to be 'honest' when they've been lying the whole time. That said, the chemistry is undeniable — I kept watching just for Jeong Han's possessive voice and those intense stares. The OST is also a banger. It's a fun, frustrating ride, but don't expect a coherent plot.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, this drama is stunning. The use of shadow, rain, and muted colors creates an oppressive, romantic atmosphere that mirrors the characters' inner turmoil. Every glance and touch is framed with care, and the dialogue carries weight without being overwrought. The final scene at the airport is beautifully shot. If you appreciate visual storytelling, this is worth watching despite the plot hiccups.

I had to watch with a critical lens because the power dynamics are genuinely unsettling. There's non-consensual kissing, coercion, and physical abuse presented as romantic. Jeong Han's character flip-flops between being abusive and sweet, which makes it hard to trust their love story. I appreciate that the drama doesn't shy away from dark themes, but it doesn't interrogate them either. Not for everyone, but fans of toxic romance may enjoy it.

The soundtrack is genuinely good — I've added three songs to my playlist. But the show itself lost its momentum after episode 4. The plot becomes convoluted with off-screen drama and a boring villain. The leads' chemistry is what keeps you going, but even that fizzles in the last two episodes. I'd recommend watching the first half and then skipping to the finale for closure. Disappointing, but the music is a highlight.
