Three Shots In is a daring and intimate Philippine short film that explores the fragile boundaries between friendship and romance. One night, three close friends—lifelong allies who have shared everything from secrets to dreams—gather for a casual evening of laughter and drinks. But as the alcohol flows and inhibitions fade, a charged atmosphere begins to shift their dynamic. What starts as playful banter soon turns into raw, unspoken desires breaking the surface. The trio finds themselves navigating an unexpected night of vulnerability, passion, and emotional confusion, where each shared glance and touch redefines their bond. Without judgment or easy answers, the film gently asks: Can love exist in more than one form? Is it possible to cross that line and still remain friends? Through subtle performances and a micro-budget aesthetic, Three Shots In delivers a bold, tender look at polyamory, consent, and the messy beauty of human connection. It's a short but impactful story that lingers long after the credits roll.

I'm absolutely melting! The chemistry between the three leads is electric—I could feel the tension through my screen. Every look, every hesitant touch felt so real. This is exactly the kind of messy, beautiful love story I crave. More polyamory BL, please!

I appreciate the attempt at exploring polyamory, but the short runtime really holds it back. The emotional shifts feel rushed—one moment they're joking, the next they're making out. The dialogue could have used more depth to justify the transition. Still, it's a commendable effort for a micro-budget film.

Visually, this short film is a gem. The warm lighting, the intimate close-ups, and the way the camera lingers on small gestures really sell the emotional weight. You can tell the director cared about every shot. The color palette shifts beautifully as the night progresses. A feast for the eyes.

I'm glad the film shows a threesome that starts with mutual affection rather than coercion, but I wish it had spent more time on the negotiation of boundaries. There's a moment where one character hesitates and the others don't check in clearly enough. For a story about crossing lines, it could have modeled better consent practices.

The score is understated but perfectly matches the mood—soft guitar during the drinking scenes, a pulsing synth when things heat up. I wish there was an official soundtrack release because that final track as the credits rolled gave me chills. Music really elevates the emotional beats here.
