ThirTEEN Terrors is a chilling Thai anthology series that peels back the hallowed halls of a seemingly ordinary school to reveal the dark, supernatural secrets lurking within. Each of the 13 self-contained episodes explores a different tale of teenage dread—from vengeful spirits and cursed objects to the cruel gossip that follows a bullied student into the afterlife. What ties these stories together is a raw, emotional core: the loneliness, fear, and quiet fury of youth. The series masterfully blends horror with poignant social commentary on school bullying, isolation, and the price of keeping secrets. Notably, one episode features a tender and tragic gay romance that stands out as a rare and heartfelt BL moment in the horror landscape. With a rotating cast of young Thai actors (many from the hit series Hormones), ThirTEEN Terrors offers both jump scares and lingering unease, making it a unique entry for fans of supernatural dramas and those seeking early LGBTQ+ representation in Thai television.

I binged this over a weekend and enjoyed most episodes. The suspense is real, but I figured out the twist in about half of them before the reveal. Episode 11 dragged because of weak acting, but the rest kept me on edge. The Blue Hour episode was a nice surprise if you're into BL. Solid 7/10 for horror anthology fans.

The cinematography and color grading are genuinely gorgeous—whoever shot this knew how to frame a scene. But the acting is so amateurish that it killed every scare for me. I laughed at parts that were supposed to be terrifying. If you're a horror veteran, skip this. The visuals alone can't save shallow storytelling.

I mainly watched for the BL episode—the shortened version of The Blue Hour—and oh my god, it broke me. The tension, the tragedy, the quiet intimacy between the two boys. That alone is worth the watch. The other episodes are decent, but this one makes the entire series a gem for BL lovers who want something dark and emotional.

As a teacher, I found the bullying themes uncomfortably accurate. Some episodes do a great job showing how school secrets and social cruelty can drive kids to desperate places. The horror is a metaphor for trauma, which I appreciate. But the execution is uneven, and the acting from younger cast members can pull you out of the immersion. Still worth a watch for the message.

The soundtrack is incredible—like a character of its own. The eerie piano cues and sudden string stabs had me jumping even when I saw the scare coming. Episode 4 had such a haunting score that I still hum it. If you're a music lover, this series delivers even when the plot falters. Highly recommend headphones for the best experience.
