In this poignant 16-minute Thai short film, we follow Than, a high school boy navigating the turbulent waters of first love and his evolving identity. His close-knit bond with his mother begins to fray when she discovers his relationship with Palm, a boy he loves. Seeking comfort, Than stays with Palm, but the distance from his mother weighs heavily on him. Meanwhile, a secret online neighbor has been guiding Than through his struggles, offering advice and solace. As Than tries to mend things with his mother, a heartwarming twist reveals the neighbor's true identity—a revelation that transforms their relationship. I was completely moved by this short film. The chemistry between Than and Palm is so sweet, but the real heart is the mother's love. That reveal had me crying! It's rare to see such a tender coming-out story in just 16 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone who loves emotional BL.

The mother-son dynamic is genuinely touching, but the forced kiss scene is jarring and poorly handled. It's brushed off as if it's no big deal, which undermines the otherwise sensitive storytelling. The twist is creative, though. Worth a watch for the feels, but be prepared for a questionable plot choice.

The OST is phenomenal! Boy Sompob's song makes the emotional scenes even more powerful. I found myself replaying the ending just for the music. The production is simple but the audio work elevates it. A must for anyone who appreciates how music can tell a story.

While the core message about family acceptance is beautiful, I can't overlook how the film trivializes sexual assault. The bully forces himself on the lead, and then they end up in a relationship? That sends a harmful message. If you're sensitive to consent issues, this will be very off-putting. It ruined the whole experience for me.

For a short ad, the visual storytelling is impressive. Warm color grading and intimate close-ups capture the characters' emotions beautifully. The mother's crying scene is framed perfectly. It's not a technical masterpiece, but it has a genuine, homemade charm that fits the story. I just wish the lighting in the later scenes was more consistent.
