Ryu is a gifted young writer whose world shatters when his long-time girlfriend, Pin, is killed in a tragic car accident. Consumed by grief and guilt, he drowns his sorrow in alcohol, becoming a bitter and cold shell of his former self. His dreary office routine is disrupted by the arrival of Arm, an enthusiastic and kind-hearted intern who refuses to be intimidated by Ryu's abrasive demeanor. As they are forced to work together on a company trip, a tentative bond begins to form. But Ryu's past trauma, a cast of complicated side characters, and a series of shocking revelations threaten to tear everything apart. This is a raw, messy story about learning to love again after devastating loss, set against the mundane backdrop of a workplace, where the biggest battles are often fought within oneself.

I wanted to like this, but the script is a complete mess. It jumps between cringey comedy and heavy drama without any warning, and the main couple has zero development until the last episode. The finale with the drunk driving and amnesia is just insulting to anyone who sat through the rest. The actors deserved a better director.

I'm a sucker for a good hurt/comfort romance, and the premise had me hooked. Unfortunately, Ryu and Arm barely interact romantically until the very end, and even then it felt forced. The side couples were cute, but I came for the main leads and left disappointed. Still, I can see the potential – the actors tried their best with what they were given.

Okay, the main couple is a mess, but the side couples? Surprisingly compelling! The whole office dynamic with the brother-in-law and the sister, plus the weird almost-GL thing – they actually got proper screen time and development. I wish the whole show was just about them. Ryu and Arm could have been cut entirely and I'd have been happier.

The show tries to tackle grief and toxic masculinity, but it botches the messaging completely. Arm pursues a much older, emotionally abusive boss who slaps him, and we're supposed to root for that? And the ending literally negates accountability with amnesia and a hit-and-run getting zero consequences. Really irresponsible storytelling.

From a visual standpoint, it's not terrible. The color grading leans into muted blues and grays that fit the melancholic mood, and some of the office shots are nicely framed. But the directing lets it down – awkward pacing, weird sound effects, and scenes that drag on forever. It looks okay, but it doesn't feel cinematic.
