In the neon-lit underbelly of Bangkok, tattoo artist Kant leads a double life as a police informant. When he's tasked with infiltrating a pair of deadly hitman brothers who own a seemingly innocent hamburger shop, his mission takes a dangerously personal turn. The younger brother, Bison, is the same man Kant shared an unforgettable one-night stand with—and he can't shake the memory. Complicating matters further, Bison's older brother Fadel is a closed-off, hyper-vigilant killer who trusts no one. To get close to Fadel, Kant enlists his best friend Style, a sassy, crop-top-wearing auto mechanic with zero filter and a heart of gold. What begins as a high-stakes spy game quickly spirals into a chaotic, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy where bullets fly as fast as flirtatious banter. As Kant and Bison rekindle their explosive chemistry, Style's relentless pursuit cracks Fadel's icy exterior, revealing a vulnerable soul desperate for connection. But with lies piling up and danger closing in, both couples must decide: is love worth the ultimate betrayal? The Heart Killers blends adrenaline-pumping action, deliciously steamy romance, and genuinely hilarious moments into a wild ride that proves sometimes the deadliest hearts are the ones most worth breaking open. This is not your typical BL—it's a bold, stylish, and emotionally resonant drama about trust, redemption, and finding light in the darkest of places.

I am OBSESSED with this show. FadelStyle completely wrecked me in the best way possible. Their chemistry is off the charts—every look, every touch, every kiss felt so real and raw. I cried during Fadel's breakdown scenes, and laughed until I choked during Style's shameless flirting. Dunk Natachai is a revelation: he brought Style to life with such charisma and vulnerability. And Joong? He broke my heart and put it back together. This is the kind of love story that reminds you why you watch BL. Absolute masterpiece.

Let's be honest: Kant and Bison are cute, but Fadel and Style are the real reason this series shines. From the moment Style crashed Fadel's car, I was hooked. Their journey from annoyance to trust to deep, passionate love is beautifully written. Style's persistence in breaking down Fadel's walls, and Fadel's gradual softening—chef's kiss. The NC scenes are some of the hottest I've seen in Thai BL, but it's the emotional intimacy that really sold me. Joong and Dunk deserve all the awards.

I wanted to love this more, but the writing is a mess. The police informant plot makes zero sense if you think about it for more than a second. The characters' decisions are often illogical, and the 'twist' is telegraphed from episode one. Also, the tonal whiplash between comedy and serious violence is jarring. That said, the cast works hard—especially Joong and Dunk—and the show is undeniably entertaining. But if you're looking for a tight, coherent thriller, look elsewhere. It's a fun ride, just don't expect Shakespeare.

Visually, this is director Jojo's most stunning work yet. The retro 80s American aesthetic—neon signs, vintage cars, perfectly curated outfits (Style's crop tops deserve an award)—creates a immersive world. The lighting during intimate scenes is soft and dreamy, while action sequences use dynamic camera movements that elevate the tension. Color grading shifts from warm golden tones in romantic moments to cool blues during confrontations. It's a feast for the eyes. Every frame is Instagram-worthy. This is how you do BL with style.

The soundtrack of The Heart Killers is an absolute banger. They use Western classic rock and pop songs so effectively—the opening credits with 'I'd Do Anything for Love' set the perfect tone. The instrumental score during emotional scenes, especially Fadel's piano moments, gave me chills. And the acoustic version of 'Good Morning' that plays during Style's sweet confessions? Perfection. I've been replaying the OST on repeat. Music is half the experience of this show, and they nailed it.

I appreciate that this show tries to tackle themes of trust and manipulation, but I have mixed feelings. Kant essentially uses his romantic relationship with Bison as a cover for spying, which is a huge violation of consent—even if he later falls in love. The show does address this betrayal and the characters work through it, but it feels a bit rushed. On the positive side, Style's pursuit of Fadel is refreshingly honest once he admits his feelings; he respects Fadel's boundaries and helps him heal. I wish the narrative had spent more time exploring the ethics of informant work. Still, it's a step forward for BL to engage with these issues.

For a romcom, the action scenes are surprisingly well-choreographed. The gunfights are crisp, and the fight sequences have real impact—especially the scene in the warehouse and the final confrontation. I loved how they used the burger shop as a cover for weapons; very John Wick vibes. The car chase with Style driving was thrilling. Yes, it's not as brutal as KinnPorsche, but it's polished and fun. More BLs should incorporate this level of action. Michael (the stunt coordinator) did a great job making the hits look real without being gratuitous.

As someone who loves '10 Things I Hate About You' and knows the Shakespeare source, I appreciate the loose adaptation. The whole 'taming' metaphor is cleverly inverted here: Style doesn't tame Fadel; he helps him free himself from his past. That said, some of the character beats felt rushed compared to the film. The 'betrayal' arc could have used more buildup. I also missed the iconic sonnet scene—though the emotional confession in episode 11 was a decent substitute. FirstKhao's banter captures the original's wit, but JoongDunk's story is the real heart. A fun, if imperfect, modernization.
