I have been waiting for this reunion since 2018 and it was EVERYTHING. Krist and Singto still have that 'devil's chemistry' — the way they look at each other, the kisses that actually felt real, the wedding at the end — I cried like a baby. Yes, the plot is simple, but who cares when the romance is this beautiful? This is the gift Peraya fans deserved.

I went in expecting a messy, angsty second-chance story but got a very safe, predictable romcom. The breakup reason was underwhelming, the side plots felt like filler, and the action scene in episode 9 was laughably unrealistic. The leads carry the show on sheer charisma, but that can't hide a script that plays it too safe. Disappointing given the potential.

This is one of the most visually stunning BLs I've seen. The color grading is warm and nostalgic, the flashbacks are beautifully stylized with a gray-tinted dreaminess, and every frame of Krist and Singto looks like a magazine spread. The costume and hair teams deserve awards — the young-versus-present styling was so convincing. Even the cat's scenes are lit perfectly. A feast for the eyes.

I appreciate that the show tackles issues like public shaming, media ethics, and the pressure on public figures. However, the handling of non-consensual recording and outing felt glossed over — the consequences were resolved too neatly. Also, Tam's mother's interference and the lack of communication between the leads reinforce unhealthy relationship patterns. It's fun fluff, but it could have been a more responsible story.

The OST of The Ex-Morning is absolutely gorgeous. The melancholic piano pieces during the flashbacks and the soft guitar strums during their tender moments made me feel every emotion twice as hard. The main theme song is perfectly matched to the bittersweet tone of the series. I've already added three songs to my playlist. Music lovers, don't skip this one.
