When Camp reluctantly joins a group camping trip, the last person he expects to see is Talay—the charismatic senior who vanished from his life years ago after a mysterious falling out. The awkward reunion is quickly overshadowed by strange occurrences at the isolated campsite: eerie whispers, flickering lights, and a presence that seems to know their darkest secrets. As Camp and Talay are forced to confront both the ghostly intruder and the unresolved tension between them, their shared history unfolds in flashbacks, revealing a bond that was more than just friendship. This two-episode miniseries blends the thrill of a supernatural mystery with the heartache of a second-chance romance, delivering a twist ending that redefines everything you thought you knew. With a compact runtime and a focus on emotional storytelling over spectacle, 'The Camp Fire' is a uniquely haunting addition to the Thai BL anthology series 'My Universe'—perfect for viewers who crave romance with a spine-tingling edge.

I loved the chemistry between Kaownah and Turbo—their eyes said so much. The ghost story was genuinely creepy, but the real scare was how fast I fell for these two. The ending left me scratching my head, but I still rewatched it twice because their love felt so real.

The setup was solid, but the finale completely undermined the emotional buildup. The twist felt forced and left too many questions unanswered. Also, that one song on loop drove me nuts—they really needed a better soundtrack. Still, the leads did their best with the material.

I appreciate that they actually talked through their past issues, but the implication that Talay 'turned gay' because a girl rejected him is problematic and not how sexuality works. The ghost part was interesting, but the narrative fell flat for me. Kaownah's acting was the saving grace.

Visually, the camping scenes had a lovely cold-toned aesthetic that fit the supernatural vibe. The camera work was above average for a short BL, especially in the tense forest shots. I just wished the music had been more varied—the same track over and over killed the immersion.

I actually didn't mind the repetitive theme song—it grew on me, almost like a lullaby for the ghost story. The sound design during the scary moments was effective. The ending was unexpected and I'm still debating whether I love or hate it, but it definitely made me think.
