That's My Candy is a delightfully chaotic Thai BL that throws realism out the window and embraces pure, unfiltered absurdity. The series follows Guy (Kimmon), a dedicated ER nurse perpetually on call, and Jing (Copter), his university student boyfriend who feels increasingly neglected. After a massive fight, Jing breaks up with Guy, convinced their love can’t survive his demanding schedule. Enter a mysterious candy seller who gives Guy three magical candies that can grant any wish—just in time to win Jing back. But the candy’s effects spiral into a whirlwind of hallucinatory hospital sequences, fourth-wall-breaking dreamscapes, and a side couple (Viking & Tamtam) whose fake relationship turns all too real. Is it a parody? A fever dream? A film within a film? That’s My Candy gleefully plays with genre conventions, offering a chaotic, meta, and ultimately sweet message about communication, compromise, and the magic we create ourselves.

I’ll watch Kimmon and Copter in anything, and honestly, their chemistry still shines through this glorious disaster. The side couple Viking and Tamtam stole my heart, and the sheer audacity of the ending made me laugh. If you love the actors and don’t mind nonsense, it’s a fun watch.

I stayed for KimCop but left obsessed with Viking and Tamtam. Their fake-dating plot was adorable and actually made sense, unlike the main story. The actors have incredible chemistry and deserve their own series ASAP. Skip the main plot for them.

What a waste of a good premise. The established couple conflict could’ve been meaningful, but the show drowns in nonsensical scenes, awful pacing, and a meta twist that invalidates everything. I couldn’t root for either lead because they were both insufferable. Don’t bother.

The color grading is bright and candy-like, and some shots are genuinely pretty. But the editing is jarring—scenes cut randomly, and the musical numbers feel out of place. Visually it’s a mixed bag: fun but messy.

I can’t ignore how toxic the main relationship is portrayed. Jing pressures Guy to abandon a patient, and Guy’s sacrifice is framed as romantic. The magical candy is a lazy fix for real communication issues. The side couple handled consent better, but the main story left a bad taste.
