In this daring and psychologically charged Thai film, a teacher living with his long-term boyfriend finds his carefully constructed life unraveling when he becomes dangerously obsessed with Joe, one of his teenage students. Blending raw emotional turmoil with surreal symbolism—like masked figures representing buried trauma—the story dives deep into the mind of a man grappling with forbidden desires and escalating mental instability. As his obsession grows, the boundaries between fantasy and reality blur, leading to a haunting exploration of guilt, compulsion, and the dark side of love. This is not a typical romance; it's an unsettling art-house drama that challenges viewers to confront uncomfortable truths about power, obsession, and the human psyche.

I went in expecting a typical BL and got a raw, disturbing art piece instead. The masked figures as trauma symbols are genius—they made my skin crawl. The acting is rough at times, but the psychological unraveling is compelling enough to keep you glued. Not for the faint of heart.

The concept is ambitious, but execution falls flat. Pacing is all over the place, and the main lead's acting can't carry the heavy material. It tries to be shocking for the sake of shock, without fully developing the characters or their motivations. A missed opportunity.

From a social perspective, this film is a difficult watch. It portrays a teacher-student dynamic that is inherently abusive, and while it doesn't glamorize it, the lack of clear condemnation left me uneasy. The trauma symbolism is interesting, but the narrative needed more ethical grounding. Not for anyone sensitive to power imbalances.

I'm a sucker for bold cinematography, and this film delivers. The color palette is cold and oppressive, perfectly mirroring the protagonist's mental state. The masked figures and sudden cuts are jarring in the best way. Aesthetics alone make it worth watching for fans of dark, experimental cinema.

I agree with the criticism about pacing—it feels like a short film stretched too thin. However, the actors are genuinely likeable, and the eerie atmosphere kept me engaged. If you can overlook the messy plot, there's a genuinely unsettling gem here. Watch it for the vibe, not the logic.
