A year after the events of *Takara no Vidro*, Shiga Takara returns from a solo hiking trip abroad to find his beloved junior, Nakano Taishin, eagerly awaiting him. With Taishin's 20th birthday approaching—a major milestone in Japan as it marks the legal drinking age—Takara decides to create a heartfelt, intimate celebration. But as the two navigate the quiet joys of domestic life, a meddlesome classmate with a flair for fiction becomes increasingly obsessed with documenting their relationship, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. This special episode offers a gentle, slice-of-life glimpse into a couple finally comfortable in their love, exploring themes of longing, growth, and the small moments that bind two people together. While it may not deliver dramatic twists, it captures the tender, unspoken language between two souls who have found their treasure in each other.

I loved this slice of dating life. So many BLs skip the comfortable phase after getting together. It was heartwarming to see Takara and Taishin relaxed without the anxiety. The quiet moments and drunk confession were sweet. Not everyone will appreciate the lack of grand gestures, but for me, this was exactly the treasure I wanted.

This spin-off added nothing. 23 minutes of filler with no real progression. The emotional stakes were flat—Taishin's reaction to Takara returning from a three-week trip felt like he'd just walked to the store. The stalker fujoshi subplot was cringey and unnecessary. If you loved the original series, skip this and remember them as they were.

I appreciate seeing a same-sex couple in a stable relationship, but the episode had problematic elements. The classmate writing fanfic based on real people without their knowledge felt invasive and stalkerish. Also, the lack of communication between the leads despite a year together is concerning. They still seem to hide feelings. Not the best representation of a healthy relationship.

As someone who loved the original manga, this spin-off felt like a missed opportunity. The manga's subtle growth between Takara and Taishin was replaced with a filler episode. The addition of the aspiring novelist character wasn't in the source material and felt forced. I wanted more depth, maybe a flashback to Takara's past. Disappointing.

While the plot was thin, I enjoyed the soft cinematography and warm color palette. The scenes of Takara cooking and the evening walk were beautifully lit. The actors' expressions were captured well, especially Taishin's tipsy confession. However, the overall lack of visual storytelling beyond the domestic setting left me wanting more.
