In the bustling heart of Seoul, two strangers cross paths during a fleeting moment of vulnerability at a quiet neighborhood bar. Jae-won, a reserved photographer grappling with the aftermath of a painful breakup, finds an unexpected connection with Hyun-soo, a free-spirited barista who wears his heart on his sleeve. Over the course of a single evening, their chance encounter unfolds into a tender, raw exploration of love, loss, and the courage to start anew. As night turns to dawn, they navigate unspoken fears and hidden desires through lingering glances, soft confessions, and the quiet intimacy of shared silence. 'Tab' is a beautifully crafted short film that captures the electric fragility of a first connection—a story that proves sometimes the most profound bonds are born from the simplest moments. With stunning cinematography and a poignant, minimalist script, this South Korean gem delivers an emotionally resonant experience that lingers long after the credits roll.

I was completely swept away by Jae-won and Hyun-soo's story. Their chemistry felt so natural and real—I smiled like an idiot through every glance. The final scene had me in tears. More of this, please!

While the atmosphere is lovely, the short runtime leaves little room for character development. We get a snapshot of a moment but not enough to truly invest. It's a beautiful mood piece rather than a fully fleshed story.

The cinematography is a dream—soft neons, perfect shallow depth of field, and that rainy window scene? Pure art. Every shot is intentional and emotionally charged. I'd watch it again just for the visuals.

I appreciate that this short film shows a gay romance without trauma or homophobia. Both characters communicate openly and respect boundaries—it's refreshing to see consent woven naturally into the intimacy. A small but meaningful step for Korean queer media.

The lo-fi piano score and the soft indie song that plays during the rooftop scene completely made my heart ache. I've been searching for the OST online ever since. Music and visuals blended perfectly to create a mood I can't forget.
