I am a sucker for fake dating and this did not disappoint! Yu Ha and Min U have this adorable, awkward tension that made me squeal every episode. The wait for the kisses was agony but SO worth it – that finale kiss gave me butterflies. Min U's visual is just chef's kiss. Ignore the haters; this is pure comfort food.

Started strong with a really cute premise, but around episode 7 it loses the plot entirely. Way too much time wasted on a random female antagonist and a weird brother subplot that never goes anywhere. The main couple barely interacts for several episodes. I get it's a slow burn, but this was just a slow drag. Feels like they had 5 episodes of content stretched to 13.

I wanted to love this, but the consent issues and power dynamics are too glaring to ignore. Su Yeon coercing Yu Ha by leveraging financial desperation is portrayed as mild drama when it's actually deeply problematic. And the brother's possessiveness reads less as familial love and more as emotional dependency that the show never critically examines. The leads are cute, but the writing needs to catch up to 2025 standards.

Visually, this is Strongberry's prettiest work. The bar scenes with the warm amber lighting, the soft focus on Min U's face – absolutely gorgeous. The hand-drawn animation interludes are a clever touch too. That said, the excessive blur filter on the actors' faces drives me crazy; they're already handsome, let their skin breathe! The aesthetic saves a lot of the storytelling flaws for me.
