On the night of a blue moon lunar eclipse that happens once in ten years, the portal between the vampire world, where drinking human blood is forbidden, and the human world opens. Lucifer, a vampire prince desperately curious about humanity, steps into our world and stumbles upon Minu, a gentle university student. As they grow closer, Lucifer must navigate the forbidden romance while hiding his true nature—and facing a jealous vampire brother who wants to drag him back. This short-form Korean BL offers a sincere, sweet take on vampire mythology, wrapped in a compact 8-episode package that prioritizes heart over spectacle. Though heavy on world-building and light on runtime, it captures the thrill of first love across worlds.

The premise had potential, but the execution was painfully shallow. With only 10 minutes per episode, there was no time for real character development or world-building. The plot holes and rushed ending left me frustrated. I wanted to like it more, but it felt like a first draft.

I'm a sucker for vampire romance and this was adorable despite its flaws. Lee Sang Min and In Jae Min have a cute dynamic, even if the kisses were a bit stiff. The short episodes made it easy to binge, and I loved the sweet moments between Minu and Lucifer. It's not perfect, but it left me smiling.

The visual direction was a mixed bag. Some shots were nicely composed, especially the blue moon scenes, but the low budget was glaring – obvious AI-generated backgrounds, clunky fight choreography, and that foundation-caked turtleneck. The color grading felt off too. It's a shame because the aesthetic could have elevated the story.

I had concerns about the power dynamics in this vampire-human romance. Lucifer enters the human world with questionable understanding of consent, and the relationship felt unbalanced. The show didn't address these issues meaningfully. Also, the portrayal of violence felt gratuitous. Not a great watch from a social perspective.

I came for the vampire action but the fight scenes were laughably bad. The choreography in episode 8 was so poorly executed that you could see the actors waiting for cues. No tension, no stakes. Waste of time for action lovers. Stick to romance if you must watch.
