I watched this primarily for the visuals, and honestly, the color grading and Thai locations are gorgeous. That said, no amount of pretty shots can fix the jarring script and the complete lack of chemistry between Mos and Bank. The dream sequences are well-lit but narratively pointless. A missed opportunity.

Sam and Yoh literally saved this show for me. Every time they appeared, the energy shifted—they actually had believable tension and emotional depth. I fast-forwarded through most of the main couple's awkward 'Khun Dad' scenes just to get to their crumbs of screentime. If this had been a spin-off about them, it would've been a 9.

Where do I even start? The reincarnation plot is nonsensical, the business subplot feels like filler, and the dialogue reads like it was generated by AI after binging bad Thai dramas. I couldn't care about anything happening on screen. The only reason it's not a 1 is that the side couple's dynamic showed a sliver of potential—too bad they had five minutes total.

I tried to give this a chance, but the power dynamics are deeply unsettling. Lin calling Sun 'Khun Dad' is not cute—it's infantilizing and romanticizes a parental figure dynamic. The fainting every other episode and the complete lack of agency for the main 'uke' made me uncomfortable. Steamy scenes don't excuse problematic framing.

I wanted so badly to love this because Mos and Bank are adorable off-screen, but their on-screen chemistry fell completely flat. The painting scene was supposed to be iconic but just made me cringe. I kept waiting for the spark that never came. The only saving grace? Sam and Yoh—they actually made me believe in love again for a few minutes.
