I respect the effort to tell a Visayan BL story with real cultural stakes, but the script glosses over how devastating homophobic family pressure can be. The leads have nice chemistry, yet the resolution felt too tidy – real life isn't that forgiving. Still, representation matters, and I'm glad this exists.

I wanted to love this so badly, but the pacing was off and the acting was pretty stiff. The sweet moments between the leads were cute, but they were too few. I ended up skipping through a lot of the family drama because it just dragged. Not the worst Pinoy BL, but far from the best.

The outdoor lighting in some scenes was gorgeous – that golden hour glow really captured the provincial vibe. But the indoor shots were flat and poorly framed, and there were a few continuity errors that pulled me out. With a bigger budget, this could have been visually stunning. As it is, it's a rough diamond.

Four episodes should be enough for a tight story, but *Strange Heart* spends too much time on pointless side characters and not enough developing the central romance. The conflict feels manufactured – one conversation could have resolved half the misunderstandings. The ending was abrupt and unsatisfying. Pass.

Okay, I know there's zero action – I came for the regional representation as a Bisaya speaker. Hearing our language in a BL warmed my heart. The comedy landed well, and the leads had decent chemistry. Production is rough, but for a low-budget web series, it's a charming effort. I'd watch a sequel if they improved the writing.
