In the cutthroat world of Bangkok's digital marketing scene, Jeng is a formidable boss with a reputation for being cold and unyielding—a reputation that makes him the target of office gossip and fear. Enter Pat, a bright-eyed new hire just back from Los Angeles, whose enthusiasm and unconventional ideas clash with Jeng's rigid expectations. But when Jeng's carefully controlled world is disrupted by a chance encounter that leaves his designer shoes stained with bubble tea, an unexpected attraction begins to brew. What starts as a strictly professional boss-employee relationship slowly evolves into a tentative, heart-fluttering romance. However, the path to love is anything but a straight line: office politics, family pressure, self-doubt, and a two-year time jump threaten to undo everything they've built. With a standout supporting cast including the sassy best friend Chot and Jeng's complicated brother Jaab, this is a slow-burn tale about taking those terrifying, exhilarating first steps toward vulnerability—even when the stairs seem impossibly steep.

I couldn't get past the terrible pacing. Episode after episode of nothing happening, then suddenly rushed conflict in the last two episodes. Pat is the most irritating lead I've ever seen – constant crying, no character growth, and the actor can't sell the emotional scenes. The show had potential but wasted it. Stick to the side characters if you must watch.

I'm a sucker for a good slow burn and this delivered. Yes, Pat can be frustrating, but Jeng's quiet devotion and the eventual payoff in episode 10 made it all worthwhile. Plus, Man Trisanu is stunning in every frame. I adored Chot and the brotherly bond between Jeng and Jaab. Not perfect, but I felt the romance deeply.

Jaab and Jen had such intense chemistry – that kiss in episode 8 was the best moment of the entire series. Why did the writers waste their storyline? After episode 10 they just vanish. Chot and his boyfriend were cute too, but I wanted more of Jaab's angst. Main leads were meh, but the side couples carried the show for me.

The boss-employee dynamic here is deeply uncomfortable. Jeng never considers the professional consequences for Pat, and Pat's emotional volatility makes the power imbalance worse. There's little healthy communication about boundaries. Compare this to 'The New Employee' (Korea) which handles workplace romance with maturity and mutual respect. Disappointing.

While the story frustrated me, I can't deny the production value. The office set design, lighting, and Man Trisanu's wardrobe were top-notch. Some scenes were beautifully framed – especially the night market sequence. However, poor acting close-ups and distracting background music lowered the polish. A mixed bag visually, but worth a look for the cinematography alone.
