The new supporting characters feel shoehorned in, and the camerawork is shaky in a few action-adjacent scenes. Jiang Chi's nurturing side is portrayed without becoming overbearing, and their communication improves significantly from the series. A sweet, healthy relationship model wrapped in a supernatural bow.
