I went in for the romance but stayed for Kyle—he's such a sweet cinnamon roll who deserves all the happiness. The chaos with Universe kept me on edge, but the genuine moments between Pipoy and Ejay gave me all the feels. A wild ride that I'd gladly take again!

As someone who studies consent and representation in reality TV, I was impressed by how carefully this season handled sensitive topics like grief and past trauma. Mother Mela created a safe container, and the contestants' vulnerability felt real, not manufactured. The 'Moment of Truth' segments were brutally honest but respectful. That said, the 'platinum gay' bit was cringey and could have been skipped.

I get the hype, but the editing clearly engineered drama—the constant public spark-pulling felt unnecessarily cruel and manufactured. Some contestants seemed to be playing for screentime rather than genuine connection. The friendships were lovely, but the show's structure undermined its own premise of authenticity. Enjoyable as a guilty pleasure, not as a serious dating experiment.

I came for the main couples but ended up obsessing over the unexpected side pairing between Miggy and the quiet artist—their slow burn was everything. The show gave them just enough screen time to make me crave more. The main drama was entertaining, but these two had the most genuine sparks in my book.

Visually, this season stepped up—the golden-hour shots at the camp and the intimate lighting during confessionals gave it a warm, cinematic feel. The name tags on everyone were a simple but brilliant production choice. The oil game from season 1 was sorely missed for its visual comedy, but the trivia game was well-shot. A treat for eyes that appreciate good framing.
