When Phleng, a bright-eyed fine arts student, is unceremoniously dumped on his 21st birthday, his world spirals into a series of bizarre mishaps that feel less like bad luck and more like cosmic interference. Enter Putter: a devastatingly handsome, sly-tongued ghost who claims to be Phleng's destined soulmate—and the catalyst for all his chaos. As Phleng navigates classes, friendships, and the sheer absurdity of a spectral suitor, he discovers that Putter's unfinished business ties them together in ways both hilarious and heartbreaking. Blending supernatural hijinks with tender romantic beats, *Soulmates* explores whether love can truly transcend death—and what it means to let go of past wounds. With a standout ensemble cast and a fresh take on the afterlife romance genre, this Thai BL miniseries promises laughs, tears, and one unforgettable ghostly boyfriend.

I am completely obsessed with Phleng and Putter! Their chemistry is off the charts—every glance, every ghostly touch had me squealing. The way Putter teases Phleng while secretly being so soft... my heart can't take it. If you love slow-burn supernatural romance with actual laughs, this is your new favorite.

Enjoyable enough, but the logic of the ghost rules is inconsistent—sometimes Putter can touch objects, sometimes not, and the resolution to his unfinished business feels rushed. The comedy lands well, but the drama could have been deeper. A decent watch, not a masterpiece.

The lighting in this series is gorgeous—soft golden tones for romantic scenes, cool blues for ghostly moments. The art department clearly had fun with Putter's ethereal appearances and the college campus setting. Every frame could be a poster. A visual treat that elevated the story for me.

I appreciate that the show addresses Phleng's emotional autonomy—he's not just swept away by a ghost; he questions the whole 'destined soulmate' idea and prioritizes his own healing. The power dynamics are handled thoughtfully, though I wish there was more discussion about consent in a supernatural context. Still, a refreshingly mature take.

The soundtrack is a hidden gem! The main theme song perfectly captures the bittersweet, playful tone of the series, and the background piano cues during emotional scenes are hauntingly beautiful. I've already added three tracks to my playlist. Music lovers, don't skip this one.
