Picking up two years after the events of the original *SOTUS*, *SOTUS S* thrusts us back into the lives of Kongpob and Arthit as they navigate the turbulent waters of adulthood. Kongpob, now a confident senior and the head hazer for his faculty, is determined to reform the system that once pitted him against Arthit. Meanwhile, Arthit has stepped into the corporate world as a fresh-faced engineer at Ocean Electric Company, trading university hierarchy for office politics. But the biggest challenge they face isn't a ruthless boss or a grueling internship—it's the secret of their relationship. In a society where same-sex love is often hidden, Arthit struggles with the fear of being outed at work, forcing the couple to maintain a painful distance. When Kongpob secures an internship at the same company, their worlds collide in the most stressful way possible. The series masterfully explores the emotional tightrope walk between professional ambition and personal authenticity. With a stellar supporting cast including new office friends and a adorable rookie antagonist, the show balances workplace humor with heart-wrenching moments of vulnerability. What makes *SOTUS S* truly special is its unflinching look at the internalized homophobia that can linger even in a loving relationship—all while delivering the slow-burn romance and palpable chemistry that made the original a BL classic.

This series made me ugly cry in the best way. Kongpob and Arthit feel so real—their struggles are painful but their love is so pure. The moment Arthit finally confessed publicly had me sobbing. Yes, they're awkward, but that's what makes it beautiful. They're learning! Krist and Singto have unmatched chemistry. A must-watch for anyone who believes in love's slow burn.

I wanted to love this more than I did. The first season had a fresh premise, but here it feels like they recycled the same 'misunderstanding' conflict over and over. The main couple acts like they've been together two weeks, not two years. I appreciated the workplace setting and some side characters, but the plot is painfully predictable. Still, the acting saves it from being a total bore.

While I admire the attempt to show real queer struggle, this series unintentionally highlights unhealthy relationship patterns. Arthit's constant withdrawal and Kongpob's relentless pursuit reads less like love and more like emotional labor. For a couple that's been together two years, the lack of open communication and physical comfort is concerning. It's a realistic depiction of internalized homophobia, but that doesn't make it fun to watch. I wanted to see growth earlier.

Visually, this is a step up from season one. The night scenes are beautifully lit, and the framing of Arthit's isolation at work is perfectly captured. I loved the use of color—warm tones for private moments, cool blues for the office. The music placement is still hit or miss (that rock theme gets repetitive), but when it works, like in episode 12, it's magic. A treat for the eyes.

Honestly, I fast-forwarded through most of Arthit and Kongpob's angst to watch Tew and Day. Those two had so much more spark and sweetness in their limited screentime. The office couples like Yong and Nai also felt more natural. The main couple's constant bickering just tired me out. If they ever do a spin-off with the side characters, I'd watch in a heartbeat.

Having read the original novel, I was excited to see how they'd adapt the post-university arc. The series adds a lot of filler with the office colleagues that isn't in the book, which slows the pace. The core relationship is more restrained than the source material—the novel has a bit more passion and less running-in-circles. That said, Krist and Singto capture the characters' essence beautifully. Good, but not as tight as the book.

The music in SOTUS S is incredible. Every song hits the right emotional note, from the opening rock theme to the soft piano during Arthit's breakdown. The moment when Kongpob sings to Arthit? I had chills. I've added the entire OST to my playlist. The music elevates even the slowest scenes. A must-listen for BL fans who appreciate a good soundtrack.

Perfection. I don't care what anyone says—this is the most realistic love story I've ever watched. Kongpob's patience and Arthit's gradual opening up made every victory feel earned. The special scenes at the end of each episode were like little gifts. I've rewatched this three times and I still cry at the final confession. Krist and Singto are the kings of BL for a reason. We need season 3!
