Do Ba Woo has been hopelessly in love with his childhood best friend, Ji Hoon, for as long as he can remember. But after years of silent pining and a painfully vague confession that went completely over Ji Hoon's head, Ba Woo decides the only way to protect his heart is to cut ties entirely. Confused and hurt by his friend's sudden coldness, Ji Hoon desperately tries to understand what went wrong—only to misinterpret a new acquaintance, Ha Min, as a stalker threatening Ba Woo. In a misguided attempt to protect him, Ji Hoon agrees to a fake one-week dating scheme that Ba Woo proposed as a last-ditch effort to move on. What follows is a beautifully shot, emotionally turbulent ride through miscommunication, hidden feelings, and the agonizing fear of losing a lifelong friendship. With its dreamy campus setting, stellar performances, and a narrative that leans hard into the classic 'friends-to-lovers' angst, *Something's Not Right* is a visually stunning if frustratingly slow-burn exploration of young love, insecurity, and the courage it takes to finally say what's in your heart.

I wanted to love this, but the circular miscommunication made me want to scream. Ba Woo acts like a complete brick wall for 7.5 episodes, and the final resolution feels unearned. The acting is decent, but a plot this thin shouldn't need this many flashbacks. Skip this unless you have infinite patience.

Yes, it's frustrating, but that's exactly what unrequited love feels like! The chemistry between Min Ho and Je Hyeon is electric, and their final confession scene made me sob. I loved every agonizing step of their journey. If you're a sucker for childhood friends to lovers with a lot of heart, give it a chance.

This drama is an absolute visual treat. The golden-hour shots, the soft focus on longing looks, and the warm color palette perfectly mirror the bittersweet tone. Even when the plot frustrated me, I couldn't stop watching because every frame is like a painting. The campus setting has never looked more romantic.

The OST is the unsung hero here. The main theme swells at exactly the right moments and makes you feel every ounce of Ba Woo's longing. The guitar motifs are beautiful, and the ballad during the climax gave me chills. If you're a music lover, this series will hit you in the feels even when the writing doesn't.

The series touches on some heavy consent issues—a coerced kiss, stalking accusations, and outing without permission—that are barely addressed. While the leads' communication breakdown is meant to be relatable, it also normalizes ignoring boundaries in the name of love. I wish the writing had handled these topics with more care.
