I absolutely melted watching Jun Jia fall for Yan Kai. The way he looks at him during band practice? Pure gold. Their chemistry is soft and real, and the love triangle just adds the right amount of angst without breaking my heart. Perfect comfort BL!

I wanted to love this, but the acting is painfully stiff, especially in the first few episodes. The story moves at a snail's pace and the love triangle feels forced. The inner voice monologues are awkward and break the immersion. Not for plot-driven viewers.

The music is the real star here. Every performance feels organic – you can tell the cast actually rehearsed. The OST tracks perfectly capture the bittersweet tone. I've had the theme song stuck in my head for days. Worth it just for the sound!

I appreciate how the show handles mental health and cyberbullying with sensitivity – it doesn't glorify suffering but shows support systems. However, the poor communication trope in episode 5 feels dated. Still, it's a safe, educational watch for younger audiences exploring LGBTQ+ themes.

The lighting and color grading give this a warm, nostalgic film look that suits the high school setting perfectly. Some shots of the band performing are beautifully composed. Too bad the low budget shows in a few choppy edits – but overall, it's visually pleasing.
