Picking up after the heartbreak of Win and Beauty's abrupt breakup (delivered via text, no less!), *Skinship Season 2* follows our lovelorn protagonist as his loyal friends — the ever-energetic Minnie, the sweet Teenoi, and the steady James — launch an all-out campaign to help him move on. Their mission: find Win a new spark, while Minnie secretly waits for her own love story to begin. Set against the glossy backdrop of a dermatology clinic (yes, the product placements are part of the charm), this three-episode miniseries balances lighthearted friend-group antics with the raw ache of letting go. New faces enter the circle, old tensions simmer, and the bonds of friendship are tested as everyone searches for connection. Though short, the season delivers a surprisingly emotional core — especially as Minnie finally gets her moment — and showcases the cast's playful chemistry. Don't expect deep plot twists; instead, lean into the relatable awkwardness of post-breakup healing, awkward dates, and the realization that sometimes the best love comes from the people who've been there all along.

I really wanted to like this more because I adore the friend group dynamic, but the plot is barely there. It feels like a 40-minute ad for a skincare clinic stretched into three episodes. The acting is okay, but the writing is so weak. At least Chahub looks great as always.

Listen, I know the story is paper-thin, but I'm here for Chahub and the sweet moments between Teenoi and James. Plus, Minnie finally getting a love interest made me smile. It's fluffy, low-stakes, and perfect for a lazy afternoon. Not every BL needs a complex plot!

I was so hyped for Teenoi and James because they were cute in S1, but their storyline in S2 feels like an afterthought. Barely any development and zero heat. The only couple that got any real screen time was Minnie and her new guy, and even that was rushed. Disappointing.

The cinematography is decent for a web series — nice lighting in the clinic scenes and some pretty outdoor shots. But the color grading is inconsistent, and the blocking feels static. I appreciate the effort to make it look polished, but the lack of directorial flair makes it feel like a long commercial.
