When Teenoi, a young man struggling with persistent skin issues, visits a high-end dermatology clinic, his life unexpectedly intertwines with that of the handsome and chic Win. Win, a home-baked goods entrepreneur, and his roommate Dr. James, the skin specialist, become entangled with Teenoi and his sister Beauty, along with their chaotic friend Minnie. As romantic sparks fly—both between Teenoi and Dr. James and between Win and Beauty—the group navigates awkward roommate dynamics, professional boundaries, and a skincare competition that blurs the lines between medicine and marketing. But beneath the surface of what appears to be a lighthearted love story, Skinship is a mini-series that functions more as an extended advertisement for the clinic itself, with the BL romance reduced to a fleeting side note and the main couple's development overshadowed by product placement. A turbulent and controversial watch, this 3-episode Thai series promises romance but delivers a clinical, commercial experience that left many viewers questioning the true meaning of 'skinship.'

I came here for a sweet BL romance but got a 30-minute ad for a skincare clinic. The BL couple had maybe two scenes and then they just announce they've been dating for months?? That's not a story, that's a lazy cop-out. And don't get me started on Minnie - assaulting a drunk guy and calling it comedy is disgusting. Waste of potential.

This is not a drama; it's a commercial. The entire plot revolves around scalp treatments, allergies, and a clinic's grand opening. The acting is fine, but you can't polish a turd. The het couple's fake relationship scheme makes no sense, and the BL 'resolution' is a throwaway line. Avoid unless you have nothing else to watch.

I'm shocked that in 2020 anyone thought it was okay to have a female character sexually assault a drunk man and frame it as comedic relief. This normalizes sexual violence regardless of gender. The BL couple is barely there, and the whole thing is a shallow ad. Unacceptable on every level.

Okay, the series itself is a mess, but I have to give credit where it's due—the soundtrack surprised me. Some catchy English songs that actually fit the mood. I kept watching just to hear the music again. The acting was decent too, especially Chahub. Shame the plot was nonexistent.

The production quality isn't terrible—lighting is clean, clinic shots are crisp, and the color palette is pleasant. But no amount of nice visuals can hide the fact that this is a 45-minute infomercial. The framing often prioritizes product displays over character moments. It's watchable background noise at best.
