7 Project is a bold Thai anthology series that weaves together seven standalone stories about love in its many forms—romantic, familial, and self-discovery—all set against the vibrant backdrop of campus life. Each episode is inspired by a different song, using music as an emotional anchor to explore diverse experiences: a bullied transfer student finds unexpected solace in a quiet classmate; a record store owner bonds with a famous actress over her father's forgotten band; a lesbian couple's new relationship is threatened by secrets from the past; a gay couple struggles with coming out and family rejection; a playboy and his best friend navigate the line between friendship and romance; two rivals uncover a school corruption scandal while slowly falling for each other; and a painfully shy artist musters courage to confess his first crush. With a stellar ensemble cast and gorgeous cinematography, the series aims to capture the chaos, tenderness, and heartbreak of young love—though its ambitious format sometimes leaves viewers wanting more closure. A must for fans of experimental storytelling and actor-heavy lineups.

I watched this purely for Santa and Earth, and they did NOT disappoint! Their chemistry in episode 1 is electric—I was crying during the bullying scenes but also swooning during the moonlit talk. The ending was a little vague, but the way they look at each other says it all. I wish they had a full series!

Great concept, terrible execution. The writing is all over the place—too much filler, rushed conclusions, and unnecessary cliffhangers. Episode 6 is the only one with a coherent story arc. The GL episode (3) was a mess with a disgusting plot twist that ruined any emotional investment. Disappointing.

I have to say, the cinematography is stunning. Every episode feels like a moody music video with gorgeous lighting and color grading. The OST placement is also really effective—especially the piano track in episode 4. Too bad the scripts didn't match the visual quality, but I'd still rewatch for the aesthetics alone.

I'm all for diverse representation, but this series mishandles its LGBTQ+ stories badly. The GL episode frames a character as a rapist and leaves the lesbian couple unresolved, while the BL couples get slightly happier endings—except they're also open-ended. The straight couples are the only ones with clear conclusions. That's not equality, that's bias.

The OSTs are honestly the best part. SantaEarth's song in episode 1 and Boun's track in episode 4 are unforgettable. I actually added them to my playlist. The stories themselves are hit-or-miss, but the music elevates every scene. If you're a soundtrack lover, give it a shot even if the plot frustrates you.
