Seoul Trip is a delightful, whirlwind romance miniseries that kicks off with a hilarious case of mistaken identity. On his first day exploring Seoul, our protagonist chases down a handsome stranger he believes is a pickpocket, only to end up spending an unforgettable night with him. The next morning, mortification sets in when he discovers his wallet was safely in his bag all along—and that the man he accused is not only innocent but also someone far more significant than he could have imagined. What follows is a charming, emotionally charged journey of unexpected connection, cultural discovery, and the messiness of falling for someone you initially misjudged. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Seoul's streets and nightlife, this 6-episode series balances lighthearted comedy with genuine heart, exploring themes of trust, vulnerability, and the serendipity of love. I'm absolutely swooning! The way they go from chasing each other through Seoul streets to sharing the softest, most tender moments—my heart can't take it. The kiss under the cherry blossoms had me replaying it three times. This is exactly the kind of sweet, steamy, no-fuss BL I live for.

It's cute and fun, but let's be honest—the whole 'mistaken pickpocket' premise relies on a lot of convenience. The pacing in episode 4 drags a bit, and the secondary characters feel like cardboard cutouts. Still, the main couple's banter is genuinely funny, and the short runtime keeps it from overstaying its welcome.

Visually, this is a feast. Every shot of Seoul at golden hour looks like a postcard, and the lighting in the intimate scenes is soft and dreamy without being washed out. The director clearly knows how to use negative space and color contrast to convey emotion. I'd watch it again just for the cinematography.

While the romance is charming, I wish the show addressed the power imbalance more explicitly after the false accusation. The leads move past it quickly, but for a story that starts with public shaming, I would have liked a proper apology scene. Still, the chemistry is undeniable, and the overall tone avoids toxic tropes well.

The soundtrack is my new obsession! That indie-pop track playing during their night walk through Myeongdong is stuck in my head on repeat. The way the music swells perfectly in the confession scene gave me chills. I've already added all six songs to my playlist. More BL dramas need OSTs this good.
